They are now one of the most consumed fruits of the world and are cultivated in many different parts of the world.

Over the years many different kinds and types of apples have been developed and cultivated in different parts of the world and today nearly 700 varieties of apples are grown all over the world.

Although there are many types of varieties available in the market, below are few of the very commonly used apples all over the world:

They also make great pies and the best apple pies are made by these apples. However they lose their taste when baked, also they can not be frozen or stored for a longer period of time.
