The Earth Awaits Several Disasters With In The Next 6 Years
This phenomenon is continuously occurring because gravity is a centripetal force it exerts its tremendous force inward, towards the centre.
The fact that the Earth is getting rounder, even today, has been confirmed by the satellite ‘Lageos' which is being monitored by scientists at the University of Texas, Centre for Space Research and at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The slow continual change of the Earth's interior has set up tremendous dynamic pressures and stress within the crust as it endeavours to conform to the ever changing mantle upon which it floats. It is therefore the imbalance between the rotational inertia and gravity that causes the dynamic movements of the tectonic plates as the crusts shifts and crunches to fit into the ever changing area.
Consequently, it is relentless, extremely slow, tremendously powerful and change constantly which causes earthquakes, volcanoes to erupt and the Earth's vast mountain ranges to rise. As the equatorial oblate shape of the Earth shrinks, the immense resulting pressure within the mantle causes it to gradually ooze upward creating the Atlantic and Pacific ridges as demonstrated at ‘The Ring of Fire'.
It is recorded that 90 per cent of the world's earthquakes and 81 per cent of the world's largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. The next most challenging seismic region with the record of five to six of earthquakes and 17 per cent of the world's largest earthquakes is the Alpide belt which extends from Java to Sumatra through the Himalayas, the Mediterranean, and out into the Atlantic. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge is the third most prominent earthquake belt.
The earthquake of December, 2004 that caused the devastating tsunami in Southeast Asia was just another ‘minor' adjustment that is the planet had to adjust to its changing shape. It has made millions of these adjustments over its lifetime and the Muzaffarabad earthquake of October 08, 2005 was also one of the continuous processes which was triggered by the slowdown of Earth's spin at autumnal equinox.
The laws of conservation of energy points out to the fact that the energy pumped into the system which has to reappear in some other form and this has happened in the Katrina hurricane hitting the southern coastal part of USA. Katrina picked up the energy while passing over the warm waters of Bay of Mexico and suddenly gained the dangerously high speed that run over the levy and then the oceanic colossal flood caused unbelievable havoc in the city of New Orleans.
Earth Is An Electric Circuit
Believe it or not, the Earth behaves like an enormous electric circuit. The atmosphere is actually a weak conductor and if there were no sources of charge, its existing electric charge would diffuse away. There is a cavity defined by the surface of the Earth and the inner edge of the ionosphere at about 50 kilometres up. At any moment, the total charge residing in this cavity is 500,000 Coulombs. There is a vertical current flow between the ground and the ionosphere of one to three pico-amperes per square metre. The resistance of the atmosphere is 200 Ohms. This value is in comparable order when we consider the intrinsic impedance of 377 Ohms of the free space and the environment around the surface of earth through which the electromagnetic waves propagate. The voltage potential is 200,000 Volts.
Furthermore, the conduction current is the largest portion of the air-earth current, far outweighing the contributions made by the precipitation current and convection current.
The number of active thunder cells or thunderstorms over the globe is about 1000-2000, so the whole circuit carries a current of about 1000 amperes. In fact, there are about 100 lightning bolts per second. This translates to about 300,000 to 400,000 Volts between the earth and the ionosphere. Electron flow does not cease to exist in fair weather conditions between the earth and atmosphere. The fair weather condition is defined as any time when it is not rainy or stormy. The amount of electricity within the atmosphere at that time has been calculated to be between 1000 and 1800 Amperes, with 1800 Amperes being the most commonly accepted value.
The fair weather current flow occurs as follows: positive ions flow to the earth and negative ions flow to the ionosphere. Thus, positive charges deposit on Earth and negative charges deposit in the ionosphere. This flow depletes the extra electrons on Earth and the difference of charge allows the flow to cycle.
So long as the properties of Earth's electromagnetic cavity remain about the same, these frequencies remain the same. Presumably, there is some change due to the solar sunspot cycle as the Earth's ionosphere changes in response to the 11-year cycle of solar activity. When the earth's atmosphere carries a charge, a current and a voltage, it is not surprising to find such electromagnetic waves.
Another important fact to be recognised is that there is a decline in the magnetic field strength of the earth when, in fact, the earth's pulse rate is showing the tendency to rise. According to scientists of the University of New Mexico, the magnetic field has already lost up to half its intensity in the last 4,000 years. Apart from this, the gravity of the Earth field has also been changing since the last Ice Age. Because of ‘Post Glacial Rebound (PGR),' regions that were covered by ice during the last Ice Age have been rising, and mass on Earth was re-distributed. This lingering effect of PGR has been reducing the outward bulge in the gravity field at the equator.
The observations of the gravity field have also revealed that the oceans are responsible in counteracting the gravitational effects of Post Glacial Rebound (PGR).
To date the GPS has been useful for studying the crusts movement of the earth. The separations between GPS sites are already being measured regularly around the Pacific basin. By monitoring the interaction between the Pacific Plate and the surrounding, largely continental plates, we have now learnt more about the events building up to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in the circum-Pacific Ring of Fire.
Mostly, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur near plate boundaries, but there are some exceptions. For example, the Hawaiian Islands, which are entirely of volcanic origin, have formed in the middle of the Pacific Ocean more than 3,200 km from the nearest plate boundary. Human activities disturbing the balance of Earth systems such as construction of large dams, large scale querying and mining, underground nuclear testing etc. are responsible for triggering earthquakes at unexpected places. But, the valid reasons discussed in this article are responsible for the impending earthquakes and volcanoes which will erupt all over the world and will disrupt the global weather systems in the coming six years because of their global scale effects.
